The very last details for the next edition of ARCHITECT@WORK Kortrijk are on point. On Thursday 11 and Friday 12 May, the 11th edition of this event has a lot to offer. Under the theme 'Super Skin', visitors will be introduced to a fascinating, multifaceted and topical theme.
The 292 booths, are all sold out and four fascinating seminars are scheduled on both Thursday and Friday. The programme includes some particularly attractive appointments: Tae Young Yoon (Senior Architect at Snøhetta), Marc Martinez (head of Computational Design at ncbham), trendwatcher Herman Konings, 'space architect' Xavier De Kestelier (global Head of Design at London-based Hassell), the Young Wolves' View debate (debate on the occasion of 60th anniversary of the Order of Architects),...
Of course, the familiar event features are also back. These include the materials exhibition MaterialDistrict, the Theoria bookshop and the photo exhibition Images by DAPh. Totally new are the art installation by Dutchman Jochem Esser, out-of-the-box concepts under the heading INSTALLATION by FEBE and a look at Howest's unique architecture course Built Environment.
At the booths themselves, visitors will once again be spoilt for choice. Indeed, the nearly 300 exhibitors will be present with a large number of innovative solutions. These innovations can be discussed in a unique setting and, as usual, while enjoying free catering.
